Battery Hen Rescue

With the help of Little Hen Rescue we have given 12 ex battery hens the chance of a better and happier life. The birds come from a farm that is closing down, so they will be the last to endure a short, boring existence in those darkened sheds. Our hens have been 'home' for less than 24 hours but are already busy scratching around in their pen and exploring their new environment. Once they've settled they will spend the rest of their lives wandering around our 3 acre paddock.
